LOL People do not know much about the Magreb. Taught in the mid 60's at Ariana Tech School right next to Tunis. Tunisia was very different then. My classroom had one light bulb hanging down. My husband was in Kasserine and Djendouba. Have been back. Last trip May 2010 was right before the Arab Spring. Was really impressed by the development. So many cars and good roads. I love Tunisia. Beautiful Roman ruins and so much more. Nice people. Best couscous! Don't like sweet cinnamon Moroccan couscous. Want to go back again.
